Oral Presentation Format
Each presentation will be allocated a 15 minute slot. Actual presentations must not exceed 12 minutes leaving 3 minutes for questions. Timing will be strictly enforced, please ensure that you have rehearsed the timing of your talk beforehand.
Speaker Ready Room and Slides Upload
We require speakers to upload their slides at our dedicated Speaker Ready Room one day before their presentation. The Speaker Readylocale is Room VIP 4-3, L4, CNCC.
The preferred formats are PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF. Computer systems with Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003/2007 and Adobe Acrobat reader will be available. And the presenters must use the conference system and not their own laptop to minimize setup time. We request that each presenter upload their presentation as early as possible on the conference computer system.
We suggest bringing a copy of all the files including movies on a USB key. Please use standard codes for videos to minimize risks of playing issues during presentation.
Please name the upload files with the following style: Date- Session Number- Presentation Number-Name
For example: If you (named Mike) are the 3rd one to give an oral presentation at Session 1 on Sept. 21.
You must upload his ppt/pdf file with the following name: 0921-O1-3-Mike.ppt/pdf.
Each oral presentation will have a unique identifier, which is available from here.
